Car
If you are driving from the center of Sintra, take the N247 road towards Cascais. After approximately 17 km, merge onto the A5 highway towards Lisbon. Continue on the A5 for about 24 km, then take exit 1 toward Alcântara. Follow signs for the city center, and merge onto Avenida 24 de Julho. Continue straight until you reach Rua Cais de Alfândega Velha. The Lisbon Earthquake Museum will be on your left at number 39.

Public Transportation
To reach the Lisbon Earthquake Museum from Sintra by public transport, take the Sintra train from Sintra train station towards Lisbon (Rossio station). The journey takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Rossio station, exit and transfer to the Metropolitano de Lisboa (Lisbon Metro). Take the Green Line towards Cais do Sodré. Get off at Cais do Sodré station. From there, it’s a short walk: exit the station, head towards the river along Rua da Cintura do Porto de Lisboa, and then turn left onto Rua Cais de Alfândega Velha. The museum is located at number 39.
