If you are starting from the Sintra train station, exit the station and head towards the main road (Avenida Dr. Alfredo da Costa). Turn left and walk along the avenue until you reach the bus stop for the 441 or 435 bus towards Colares. Board the bus and enjoy the scenic ride. After about 20 minutes, get off at the 'Colares' stop. From there, walk along R. Principal in the direction of the sea. Casal Sta. Maria is located at R. Principal 18, just a short 10-minute walk from the bus stop.
