From the center of Sintra, head towards the Sintra Train Station. You can start from the main square, Praça da República. Walk down Rua do Município until you reach the train station (Estação Ferroviária de Sintra). Once you reach the station, exit and follow the signs for the bus stop for bus #434, which goes to Pena Palace.

Take bus #434 from the Sintra Train Station towards Pena Palace. The bus ride takes approximately 15 minutes. Make sure to keep an eye on the stops and get off at the bus stop for 'Pena Palace' (Palácio da Pena).

Once you get off the bus at Pena Palace, walk down the road (Estrada da Pena) heading towards the entrance of the park. Continue walking along the road for about 10-15 minutes. You will start to see signs for Penedo da Amizade. The walk will take you through a beautiful wooded area, so take your time and enjoy the scenery.
