Walking
From the center of Tomar, head towards the Praça da República. Walk straight down Rua Serpa Pinto until you reach the end of the street. Turn right onto Avenida dos Combatentes da Grande Guerra. Continue walking straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit to stay on Avenida dos Combatentes. After about 1.5 km, look for signs indicating 'Buracas do Casmilo'. Follow the trail markers that lead you towards the hiking area, which is approximately 2 km from the roundabout.

From the main bus station in Tomar, take the bus towards 'Casmilo'. The bus will drop you off at the nearest stop to Buracas do Casmilo. Make sure to ask the driver to let you know when you arrive at the correct stop. From there, follow the signs towards the hiking trails, which are a short walk from the bus stop.

If you have access to a bicycle, you can rent one in Tomar and ride towards Buracas do Casmilo. Start from the city center and head to Avenida de Cernache. Continue cycling straight until you reach the outskirts of the town, where you will find paths leading towards the hiking area.
