Bus
From Al Wakrah, head to the nearest bus stop, which is located along Al Wakrah Main Street. Look for bus number 76, which travels towards Doha. Board the bus and enjoy the ride, which will take approximately 30 minutes. You should disembark at the 'Education City' bus stop. Once you get off, walk straight towards Al Luqta Street. The Qatar National Library will be ahead on your right, about a 5-minute walk from the bus stop.
Metro
Make your way to the Al Wakrah Metro Station, which is located near the main market area. Take the Red Line towards Lusail. After 4 stops, get off at the 'Gharrafa' station. Transfer to the Green Line and head towards 'Al Mansoura'. After 2 stops, get off at the 'Education City' station. Exit the station and walk straight towards Al Luqta Street. The Qatar National Library will be on your left, approximately a 10-minute walk.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from your location in Al Wakrah to the Qatar National Library. Simply flag down a taxi or use a ride-hailing app. Provide the driver with the address: 'District of Freedom, Education City, Al Luqta St, Doha'. The journey will take around 20 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.
Walking
If you're feeling adventurous and the weather permits, you can walk to the Qatar National Library from Al Wakrah. Start by heading north on Al Wakrah Main Street until you reach Al Wakrah Park. Continue walking straight as the road becomes Al Luqta Street. Follow this street, and you will eventually see the Qatar National Library on your left. The walk will take approximately 1 hour, so make sure to stay hydrated and wear comfortable shoes.
