If you are driving from Narragansett Beach, head northwest on Ocean Road (RI-1A) toward Narragansett Ave. Continue on this road until you reach the intersection with US-1 North. Merge onto US-1 North and continue for approximately 9 miles. Take the exit toward RI-138 East/Newport and merge onto RI-138 East. Follow the signs for Newport, and as you approach the city, keep right at the fork to continue on America's Cup Ave. The Newport Bus Terminal/Hamilton Family Aquarium will be on your left at 23 America's Cup Ave.

Public Transportation
To reach the Newport Bus Terminal from Narragansett Beach using public transportation, first, walk to the nearest bus stop for the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) service. You can catch the Route 66 bus heading toward Wakefield. Ride this bus until you reach the Wakefield Bus Terminal. From there, transfer to the Route 60 bus towards Newport. Stay on the bus until you arrive at the Newport Bus Terminal/Hamilton Family Aquarium stop at 23 America's Cup Ave. The entire journey may take approximately 1.5 hours depending on waiting times.
