    To reach Brenton Point State Park from Sachuest Point National Wildlife Refuge by car, start by exiting the refuge and turning left onto Sachuest Point Road. Continue on this road until you reach the intersection with Ocean Road. Turn right onto Ocean Road and follow it for approximately 4 miles. You will pass through scenic areas before arriving at the entrance to Brenton Point State Park, located at 1 Halsey’s Point Rd, Newport, RI 02840. There is no entrance fee for the park, but parking is available.

    If you prefer public transportation, you can take the RIPTA bus route 67 from the nearest bus stop in Middletown. Board the bus towards Newport. After approximately 25 minutes, get off at the stop near the intersection of Ocean Road and Halsey’s Point Road. From there, it’s about a 15-minute walk to the entrance of Brenton Point State Park. Note that bus fares are around $2.00 per ride, and exact change is required.
