If you are driving, start on Route 138, heading towards Newport. Follow signs for Newport and take the exit towards the city. Once in Newport, take the first right onto Farewell Street, which will become America's Cup Avenue. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Lincoln Drive. Turn left onto Lincoln Drive. Fort Adams Advanced Redoubt will be on your right. There is parking available nearby, but be aware that there may be parking fees depending on the time of year and events.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, take the RIPTA (Rhode Island Public Transit Authority) bus number 60 from downtown Newport toward the Newport Gateway Center. It operates regularly, and you can check the schedule on the RIPTA website. Get off at the stop closest to Fort Adams, which is approximately a 15-minute walk away. Once you disembark, head south on America's Cup Avenue, then take a left onto Lincoln Drive. Fort Adams Advanced Redoubt will be on your right.
