If you are traveling by car, start by exiting Sachuest Point National Wildlife Refuge and head south on Sachuest Point Road. Continue until you reach the intersection with Route 138. Turn left onto Route 138, and follow the signs towards Newport. After approximately 5 miles, take the exit for Newport. Merge onto America’s Cup Avenue and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Thames Street. Turn left onto Thames Street and follow it until you reach the junction with Ocean Avenue. Turn left again onto Ocean Avenue. The Cliff Walk will be located on your right at 34 Ocean Ave, Newport, RI 02840. There is no cost for parking on the street, but be mindful of any parking restrictions.

If you are using public transportation, take the RIPTA bus route 60 from Newport. Board the bus at the Newport Gateway Center and ride it towards the Newport Grand. After about 15-20 minutes, get off at the stop for 'Ocean Avenue'.
