    From Yawgoo Valley Ski Area, head south on Yawgoo Valley Rd. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Route 1 (Post Rd). Turn right onto Route 1 and continue for approximately 12 miles. Take the exit for Route 138 East toward Newport. Merge onto Route 138 and follow it for about 8 miles. As you approach Newport, take the exit for US-1 South, then merge onto Washington St. The Rose Island Lighthouse will be located at 1 Washington St, Newport, RI 02840. Look for parking along the street or nearby lots.

    From Yawgoo Valley Ski Area, you will need to get to a nearby bus stop. Take the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) bus #60 from the nearest stop to Yawgoo Valley.
