Getting There

  • Car

    From Yawgoo Valley Ski Area, head north on Yawgoo Valley Road. Continue straight until you reach Route 138. Turn left onto Route 138 East and follow it until you merge onto I-95 North. Stay on I-95 North for about 15 miles. Take exit 22A for I-195 East toward Cape Cod. Continue on I-195 East for about 2 miles, then take exit 2A for US-1 South. Follow signs for Memorial Boulevard. The park will be on your left, just after you pass the Providence River.

    From Yawgoo Valley Ski Area, take the RIPTA Route 66 bus towards Providence. The bus will take you to Kennedy Plaza in downtown Providence. Once you arrive at Kennedy Plaza, transfer to the RIPTA Route 1 or Route 42 bus heading toward Memorial Boulevard. Get off at the stop closest to Waterplace Park. The park will be a short walk from the bus stop.
