Car
From your location in the Rodnei Mountains, head towards the DN17 road. Follow DN17 north towards Bistrita for about 30 km until you reach the town of Bistrita. Once in Bistrita, switch to DN18 and continue west towards Vișeu de Sus. After approximately 65 km, you will arrive in Vișeu de Sus. Once in the town, navigate to Str 22 Decembrie nr 20, where the Maramures Mountains Natural Park visitor center is located. Parking is available in the vicinity.

If you prefer public transportation, first make your way to the nearest bus station in the Rodnei Mountains. Look for a bus heading to Bistrita. After arriving in Bistrita, transfer to a bus going to Vișeu de Sus. The trip from Bistrita to Vișeu de Sus takes about 2 hours. After reaching Vișeu de Sus, you can either walk or take a local taxi to Str 22 Decembrie nr 20, where the Maramures Mountains Natural Park visitor center is located. The taxi ride from the bus station to the visitor center should cost around 10-15 RON.
