Car
From your location in the Rodnei Mountains, head towards the DN17 road. Follow DN17 north towards Bistrita for about 30 km until you reach the town of Bistrita. Once in Bistrita, switch to DN18 and continue west towards Vișeu de Sus. After approximately 65 km, you will arrive in Vișeu de Sus. Once in the town, navigate to Str 22 Decembrie nr 20, where the Maramures Mountains Natural Park visitor center is located. Parking is available in the vicinity.
