Car
If you are driving, start from the Nyungwe Forest National Park Visitor Center. Head south on the main road (Nyaruguru Road) for approximately 15 km until you reach the junction at Nyabisindu. Turn left at the junction, and continue for about 5 km. Keep an eye out for road signs indicating Shyunda Mountain, and follow the signs until you reach the coordinates JM74+J7. The road is generally well-maintained, but be cautious of occasional potholes.

Public Transportation
To reach Shyunda Mountain via public transport, first, take a local bus from the Nyungwe Forest Visitor Center to Nyabisindu. Buses run regularly and the fare is around 1,000 Rwandan Francs. Once you arrive in Nyabisindu, you can hire a motorcycle taxi (moto) to take you directly to Shyunda Mountain. The moto fare should be about 2,000 to 3,000 Rwandan Francs, depending on your negotiation skills.
