If you're driving, start by navigating to the main entrance of Nyungwe Forest National Park. From the park entrance, head south on the main road (RN6) towards Kitabi. After approximately 10 kilometers, look for the signs indicating the Nyungwe Nziza Ecolodge. Turn onto the road leading to the ecolodge and follow it for about 2 kilometers until you arrive at your destination.

Public Transportation
To access Nyungwe Nziza Ecolodge via public transportation, take a bus from Kigali to Nyamagabe. Buses depart regularly from Nyabugogo Bus Station in Kigali and the fare is typically around 2,500 Rwandan Francs. Upon arriving in Nyamagabe, you can hire a motorcycle taxi (locally known as 'moto') to take you to the ecolodge. The moto ride should cost around 1,000 to 1,500 Rwandan Francs and will take approximately 30 minutes. Make sure to ask the driver to take you to Nyungwe Nziza Ecolodge, located near Kitabi.

If you find yourself already within Nyungwe Forest National Park and wish to walk to Nyungwe Nziza Ecolodge, start from the visitor center located at the park entrance. Follow the marked trails towards Kitabi, ensuring you remain on the designated paths. The walk is scenic and takes approximately 2 hours. Make sure to wear appropriate hiking shoes and carry water, as the trails can be steep and rugged.
