Car
To reach Akagera National Park from Volcanoes National Park by car, start by heading east on the main road from Volcanoes National Park. Follow the signs towards Kigali. Once you are in Kigali, follow signs for the Nyanza Road (also known as the Kigali-Rwamagana Road). Continue on this road for about 1.5 hours until you reach the junction for Akagera Road. Turn right onto Akagera Road and follow it for another 30-40 minutes until you arrive at the park entrance, located at 4PC3+5J2, Akagera Road.
