If you are driving, start by heading towards the main entrance of Volcanoes National Park. From the entrance, continue on the main road (RN4) for approximately 10 kilometers. You will see signs for Volcanoes Forest Camp. The camp is located on the left side of the road. Ensure to keep an eye out for the camp's signage, as it can be easy to miss.

If you are using public transportation, you can take a moto-taxi or a shared taxi from Musanze to the park entrance. Once you arrive at the park entrance, you can hire a local guide or a moto-taxi to take you directly to Volcanoes Forest Camp. The cost for the moto-taxi typically ranges from 2,000 to 5,000 Rwandan Francs (approximately $2 to $5), depending on the negotiation and distance.

For the more adventurous, if you find yourself near the park entrance and prefer walking, you can trek along the RN4 road towards Volcanoes Forest Camp. The distance is about 10 kilometers, which will take approximately 2 hours to walk. Be cautious of traffic, and consider walking during daylight hours for safety.
