Getting There

    From Monte Giardino, head southeast on Via della Libertà towards Via G. Marconi. Continue on Via G. Marconi until you reach the junction with Strada del Cinghiale. Turn left onto Strada del Cinghiale and follow the road as it winds up the hillside. You will see signs for the Third Tower - Montale as you approach. There is a parking area near the base of the tower where you can leave your car. Please note that parking may incur a small fee.

    Start at the nearest bus stop in Monte Giardino. Take bus number 5 towards the Historic Centre of San Marino. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at the 'Guaita' stop. From there, you will need to walk. Head southwest on Via delle Grotte, which will lead you towards the Third Tower - Montale. The walk will take about 20 minutes and is uphill, so be prepared for some moderate exercise. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes.

    If you are already in Monte Giardino and prefer to walk, you can start from the main square. Head towards Via della Libertà and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via G. Marconi. From there, follow the signs directing you to the Third Tower - Montale. The walk is approximately 1.5 kilometers and will take around 30 minutes. The path is scenic but does have some steep sections, so plan accordingly.
