If you are traveling by car within Niokolo-Koba National Park, head towards the main exit of the park. Follow the signs leading to the town of Toubakouta. The drive will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on road conditions. Once you reach Toubakouta, navigate to the coordinates QGJJ+V74 using a GPS or map application. The Fathala reserve is located just outside the town, and you will see signage indicating the entrance.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take a shared taxi or minibus (known as a 'sept-place') from the park area to Toubakouta. The fare typically ranges from 5000 to 7000 CFA francs per person. Once in Toubakouta, you can either walk to Fathala if you are close (approximately 30 minutes) or hire a local taxi for about 2000 CFA francs to take you to the entrance of the Fathala reserve.
