Getting There

  • Bus

    From Nova Gorica, walk to the main bus station located at Ulica Tolminskih Puntarjev. Take bus number 20 or 21 towards 'Gorizia'. You will need to get off at the 'Gorizia - Stazione FS' stop. From there, transfer to a bus that goes to Aquileia, which is usually bus number 4. The journey will take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once you arrive at the Aquileia bus station, it is a short walk to Piazza Capitolo. Head east on Via Roma, turn right onto Via Cavour, and then continue straight until you reach Piazza Capitolo, where Società per la Conservazione della Basilica di Aquileia is located.
