    From the center of Sežana, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located at the main square (Trg osvobodilne fronte). Take bus number 25 towards Trieste. After approximately 30-35 minutes, get off at the 'Aquileia' bus stop. From there, follow the signs towards the archaeological area, which is about a 15-minute walk along Via XXIV Maggio.

    If you prefer to walk, start at the Sežana Town Hall. Head east on Šempeterjeva Street, then turn left onto the main road (H4). Continue straight for about 4 kilometers until you reach the border with Italy. Once you cross into Italy, continue on the same road, which becomes Via XXIV Maggio. The archaeological area will be on your right-hand side.

  • Bicycle Rental

    Rent a bicycle from a local rental shop in Sežana. Start your journey by heading towards the main road (H4) and follow the signs for Aquileia. The ride is approximately 4 kilometers and will take about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive in Aquileia, park your bicycle near the archaeological area, which is easy to find as it is well-signposted.
