Start at the Cape Town city center. Head to the nearest MyCiTi bus station, such as the Civic Centre. Take the MyCiTi bus route 108 towards Table Mountain Aerial Cableway. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Table Mountain Aerial Cableway'. From there, walk along Tafelberg Road for approximately 1.5 kilometers (about a 20-minute walk) towards the Table Mountain Road Viewing Bench. You will find the bench on your left, offering stunning views of the city and coastline.

Walking
If you prefer to walk, start at the V&A Waterfront. Walk towards the dock area and connect to the promenade heading to the city center. Continue walking until you reach the MyCiTi bus station at the Civic Centre. From here, you can take the MyCiTi bus as described above. Alternatively, if you’re feeling adventurous, you can take the scenic route via the Lower Tafelberg Path which leads up to Tafelberg Road, but this is recommended for those who are fit and prepared for a hike.
