Getting There

  • Car

    If you're driving, head to the Table Mountain Aerial Cableway station located at the base of Table Mountain. From the V&A Waterfront area, take Buitengracht St, which turns into Kloof Nek Rd. Follow signs to the Cableway. There is parking available at the station, but it can fill up quickly on weekends and holidays, so arrive early. After parking, take the Aerial Cableway to the top of Table Mountain. Once at the top, follow the well-marked paths toward Saddle Rock, which is approximately a 1.5 km walk from the cableway station.

  • Public Transportation

    If you're using public transport, take the MyCiTi bus to the 'Table Mountain' station. Buses run regularly from various points in Cape Town, including the V&A Waterfront. After disembarking at the Table Mountain station, follow the signs to the Aerial Cableway. Purchase a ticket for the cable car to the summit. Once you reach the top, navigate toward Saddle Rock by following the scenic paths, which are well-marked.
