From the main entrance of Royal Natal National Park, drive south on the R74 towards the town of Oliviershoek. Continue on the R74 for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach a road sign indicating the turn-off to Liphofung Cave. Take the turn-off and follow the signs for about 10 kilometers leading you into Lesotho. Please ensure your vehicle is suitable for gravel roads as the final stretch may not be paved. Upon reaching the cave area, you'll find designated parking.

If you're using public transport, take a bus from the nearest city (like Durban) to the town of Harrismith. From Harrismith, you can catch a local taxi to Royal Natal National Park. Once in the park, you may need to hire a local guide or taxi service that can take you to Liphofung Cave, as public transport options are limited. It's advisable to arrange this in advance due to the remote location.
