Getting There

Car
From the main entrance of Royal Natal National Park, drive towards the main road and follow the signs leading to the park's attractions. Head towards the R74 road, which will take you towards the northern part of the park. Continue on the R74 for approximately 10 km, then turn left onto the road leading to the Drakensberg Mountain area. After about 5 km, you will reach a junction; take the road towards the left that leads to the northern border of the park. Follow this road for another 15 km until you reach the border with Lesotho. At this point, you will need to be prepared for border crossing procedures, which may include showing identification and going through customs. After crossing into Lesotho, follow the signs to Oranje Begin, which is approximately 5 km from the border crossing.
