From your current location in Sani Pass, take the Sani Pass road (R56) heading towards the Lesotho border. The road can be rough, so ensure your vehicle is suitable for mountain driving. Continue along this road for approximately 12 kilometers, until you reach the parking area for the Ribbon Falls hike. Look for signs indicating the Ribbon Falls trail. Park your car in the designated area, which may require a small fee (usually around R50).

From the parking area, follow the marked trail that leads towards Ribbon Falls. The hike is about 2 kilometers and can take roughly 1 hour to complete, depending on your fitness level. Be prepared for a moderately steep trail with some rocky sections. Make sure to wear sturdy shoes and carry water and snacks with you, as there are no facilities on the trail.
