Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from the main visitor center within Table Mountain National Park. Head south on the M3 highway towards Muizenberg. Continue on the M3, which will take you to the M65. Follow the M65 until it merges with the M4. Continue on the M4 along the coast. As you approach Cape Point, look for signs indicating 'Cape Point Ostrich Farm' and turn left onto Plateau Road. The farm will be located on your right. Parking is available on-site. Note that there may be an entrance fee to Table Mountain National Park, so check for updated prices before you go.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, you can catch a train from Cape Town to Simon's Town on the Southern Line. Once you arrive in Simon's Town, use a taxi or rideshare service to get to Cape Point Ostrich Farm. The ride from Simon's Town to the farm will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Make sure to check the train schedules ahead of time for any changes, and be aware that public transport can have variable timings, so plan your visit accordingly. Also, keep in mind that taxi fares will vary, so ensure you have cash or an app for payment.

• Combination of Car and Walking

  If you are currently somewhere within Table Mountain National Park and prefer to walk part of the way, consider driving towards the nearest point on the M4 where you can park. From there, you can enjoy a scenic walk along the coastal paths towards Cape Point Ostrich Farm. This will allow you to experience the natural beauty of the area. Remember to wear comfortable walking shoes and bring water. After walking approximately 2-3 kilometers, you will reach the farm where you can enjoy the attractions.
