From downtown Charleston, head west on Calhoun St toward Meeting St. Continue onto US-17 N/US-52 W. Merge onto I-26 W toward Columbia. Take exit 219B to merge onto US-17 S toward Savannah. Continue on US-17 S for about 8 miles. Take the exit for SC-61 toward Ashley River Rd. Merge onto Ashley River Rd and continue for approximately 1.5 miles. The Middleton Place Equestrian Center will be on your left at 4280 Ashley River Rd, Charleston, SC 29414.

Start at the Charleston Visitor Center and take the CARTA bus number 10 (Dorchester Rd) or bus number 11 (North Charleston). Get off at the stop near Ashley River Rd and US-17 S. From there, it is a short walk to the Middleton Place Equestrian Center, located at 4280 Ashley River Rd. Follow Ashley River Rd north for about 0.5 miles until you reach your destination on the left.
