Car
From Kiawah Island, head northwest on Kiawah Island Parkway toward Freshfields Village. Take a left onto Johns Island Road (SC-700) and follow it to the intersection with US-17. Turn right onto US-17 N. Continue for about 13 miles until you reach the exit for Historic Charleston (US-17 Business). Follow the signs to the city center. Once in Charleston, take a left onto Calhoun Street, then another left onto East Bay Street. Continue until you reach Wharfside Street. From Kiawah Island, you can take the CARTA 34 route (Kiawah Island Shuttle). Board the shuttle at the designated stop and ride to the Citadel Mall.
