To reach Cheraw State Park by car from any location in the Sandhills region, first get on US-1 South or SC-38 East depending on your starting point. Follow the signs for Cheraw. Once you reach Cheraw, take SC-102 towards the west. Continue on SC-102 until you see signs for Cheraw State Park. Turn onto State Park Road and follow it until you arrive at the park entrance located at 100 State Park Rd, Cheraw, SC 29520. Parking is available on-site, and there may be a small entrance fee.

If you prefer to use public transportation, you may take a Greyhound bus to Cheraw, SC. Once you arrive at the Cheraw bus station, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to get to Cheraw State Park as there are no direct public transport connections to the park. The drive from the bus station to the park is approximately 15 minutes. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance for availability.
