Follow the signs directing you to the 'Badlands National Park Sign.' The sign is located near the Pinnacles Overlook, which is approximately 15 miles from the entrance of the park. Look for the large, recognizable sign on the right side of the road. There are parking areas nearby where you can safely stop and take photos.

Public transportation options are limited in the Badlands National Park area. If you are relying on public transport, you will need to first take a bus to Wall, SD, which is the nearest town with public transport services. From Wall, you can arrange for a taxi or a rideshare service to take you to the Badlands National Park Sign. The distance from Wall to the sign is about 10 miles. Note that taxi and rideshare services may incur additional costs.

If you are feeling adventurous and have access to a bicycle, you can ride along the Badlands Loop Road. Ensure you have proper gear and be aware of the traffic, as the road can be busy.
