If you are driving within Badlands National Park, head toward SD-240. From the Ben Reifel Visitor Center, take the road leading out of the parking lot and turn left onto Badlands Loop Road (SD-240). Continue on this road for approximately 8 miles. The Yellow Mounds Overlook will be on your right-hand side. There are signs indicating the overlook. Once you reach the overlook, you can park in the designated area and enjoy the stunning views.
