Car
From anywhere in Lewis and Clark Recreation Area, take the main park access road towards the south. Follow the signs directing you towards US-81 South. Once you reach the highway, turn left onto US-81 South and continue for about 3 miles. As you approach Yankton, look for signs directing you to Meridian Bridge. Turn right onto E 4th St, then take a left onto Douglas Ave. Continue on Douglas Ave until you reach the bridge area on your right. There is parking available near the entrance to the bridge.

If you are using public transportation, first check for any local transit options that may operate from the Lewis and Clark Recreation Area to Yankton. Once you arrive in Yankton, you can either walk or take a taxi/rideshare service to Meridian Bridge. From downtown Yankton, head east on E 4th St and then turn left onto Douglas Ave. The bridge will be on your right. Expect to pay for a taxi or rideshare service if you choose that option.

For the more adventurous, biking or walking from the Recreation Area to Meridian Bridge is a great way to enjoy the scenery. Start on the park's trails leading towards Yankton, and follow the same route as vehicles towards US-81 South.
