    If you are at Mount Rushmore National Memorial, start by taking the main path that leads away from the memorial area. Follow the signs towards the visitor center and exit the grounds. Once you reach SD-244, turn left and walk towards Keystone. After approximately 1.5 miles, you will enter the town of Keystone. Continue walking along the main street, which is also known as Winter St. Keep an eye out for local shops and attractions. After about a 15-minute walk, you will see the Borglum Story Museum located at 342 Winter St on your left.

    From the Mount Rushmore visitor center, you can take the seasonal shuttle bus service that operates between Mount Rushmore and Keystone. Board the shuttle and inform the driver that you want to go to the Borglum Story. The ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes. Once you arrive in Keystone, disembark at the main street stop, and the Borglum Story Museum is just a short walk down Winter St, about 0.2 miles from the bus stop.
