    From the main entrance of Mount Rushmore, head south on SD-244. Continue walking for about 3.5 miles until you reach the intersection with US-16A. Turn right onto US-16A and walk for another 1.5 miles. You will see signs for Custer State Park and the Wildlife Station Visitor Center. Follow the signs until you reach the center, located at 13479 Wildlife Loop Rd.

    Take the local shuttle service from Mount Rushmore. You can find the shuttle stop at the visitor center near the entrance. Ask the driver for the shuttle heading to Custer State Park. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes, and you should inform the driver that you want to get off at the Wildlife Station Visitor Center. Once you arrive, you will be at the visitor center itself, located at 13479 Wildlife Loop Rd.
