Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Nampodong, head south on the main street, Gwangbok-ro. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the junction with Gukjesijang 2-gil. Turn left onto Gukjesijang 2-gil and walk for another 200 meters. Gukje Market will be on your right, easily recognizable by its vibrant stalls and crowds.

  • Subway

    If you are near Nampodong Station, take Line 1 (the red line) towards Sinpyeong Station. Get off at Jagalchi Station (2 stops away). Take Exit 7 and walk straight for about 300 meters. After a slight right turn, continue walking until you reach Gukje Market, which will be on your left.

  • Bus

    Locate the nearest bus stop in Nampodong. Take Bus No. 81 or 27 towards the Jagalchi area. After about 10-15 minutes, get off at the Gukje Market stop. From the bus stop, walk a short distance down the street, and you will see the entrance to the market ahead.
