Car
If you're traveling by car, start from Sokcho city. Head south on Dongmyeong-ro (Route 7) for about 10 km until you reach Seoraksan National Park. There is a parking area available at the park entrance where you can park your vehicle. Please note that there may be a parking fee of around 2,000 KRW. After parking, follow the signs to the Ulsanbawi trailhead, which is about a 1.5 km walk from the parking area.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus from Sokcho Bus Terminal. Look for the bus that goes to Seoraksan National Park. Buses run frequently, and the fare is approximately 2,000 KRW. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the park entrance, you will still need to walk approximately 1.5 km to reach the trailhead for Ulsanbawi Rock.

Hiking Trail
After reaching the Ulsanbawi trailhead, be prepared for a challenging hike. The trail is about 4 km long and includes many steep sections and stairs. Allow at least 2-3 hours to reach the summit, and make sure to have proper hiking shoes and water. The views from the top are breathtaking and definitely worth the effort.
