If you are driving to Gyejoam from within Seoraksan National Park, head towards the main entrance of the park at Seoraksan National Park Visitor Center. From the visitor center, take the main road towards Sokcho and follow the signs for Gyejoam. The drive will take approximately 30 minutes. Gyejoam is located at the address: Gangwon-do, Sokcho-si, Seorak-dong, 설악1140 115. There is parking available near the temple, but be mindful of any parking fees that may apply.

To reach Gyejoam via public transportation, start by taking a local bus from the Seoraksan National Park Visitor Center to Sokcho. Look for buses heading to Sokcho Intercity Bus Terminal. Once you arrive at the terminal, you can catch a taxi directly to Gyejoam. The taxi ride should take about 15-20 minutes and may cost around 10,000 KRW. Alternatively, you can check for any local buses that might go closer to Gyejoam, but taxis are the most convenient option.
