Getting There

  • Subway

    If you are starting from Seoul Station, take Line 1 (the blue line) towards Seodongtan. Transfer at Jonggak Station (2 stops) to Line 5 (the purple line) and take it towards Sangil-dong. Get off at Gwanghwamun Station (2 stops). From Gwanghwamun Station, exit through Exit 2. Walk straight for about 10 minutes on Sejong-daero until you reach the intersection with Samcheong-ro. Turn left onto Samcheong-ro and continue walking for another 10 minutes until you reach Bukchon Palgyeong, which will be on your left.

  • Bus

    From Dongdaemun Design Plaza, walk to Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station and take Bus No. 272. Ride the bus for about 20 minutes, getting off at the 'Samcheong-dong' stop. From there, walk along Samcheong-ro for approximately 5 minutes, and Bukchon Palgyeong will be on your right.

  • Walking

    If you are near Insadong, you can easily walk to Bukchon Palgyeong. From Insadong, head north towards the main road and continue onto Samcheong-ro. Walk straight for about 15 minutes. You'll pass by traditional Hanok houses along the way. Bukchon Palgyeong will be on your left as you approach the area.
