If you are near a subway station, take Line 1 (the Blue Line) and get off at City Hall Station (시청역). Once you exit the station, use Exit 2. After exiting, walk straight towards the large intersection, then take a left onto Sejong-daero. Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes, and you will reach Deoksugung Doldamgil (Stone-wall Road) on your left.

Look for a bus stop near you and take Bus 172, 401, or 406. Get off at the 'Deoksugung' stop (덕수궁) which is directly in front of the entrance to Deoksugung Doldamgil (Stone-wall Road). From the bus stop, walk towards the stone wall path.

Walking
If you are in the vicinity of the Seoul Plaza, you can walk to Deoksugung Doldamgil. Head south from Seoul Plaza toward the main road, Sejong-daero. Cross the road and continue walking straight for about 5 minutes. The stone-wall road will be on your left, leading directly to the Deoksugung Palace.
