If you're near a subway station, take Line 5 (the light green line) and get off at Gwanghwamun Station. Use Exit 2, which leads directly to Gwanghwamun Square. Once you exit, you will see the square right in front of you, along with the Gwanghwamun Gate.

You can take a bus to Gwanghwamun Square. Look for buses that stop at 'Gwanghwamun' or 'Sejong Center.' Bus numbers 1, 11, 102, 150, 171, 172, 601, and 7025 frequently serve this area. After getting off, follow the signs toward Gwanghwamun Square, which is usually visible from the bus stop.

Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of Gwanghwamun or nearby attractions such as Gyeongbokgung Palace or Cheonggyecheon Stream, you can simply walk to Gwanghwamun Square. From Gyeongbokgung Palace, head east towards Sejong-daero, and you will arrive at the square in about 10 minutes. If you are coming from Cheonggyecheon, walk north towards the main road (Sejong-daero), and you will see the square within a 15-minute walk.
