Getting There

Subway
From Suwon Station, take Line 1 (the dark blue line) towards Seoul Station. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at City Hall Station. Once you arrive at City Hall Station, take Exit 2. After exiting, walk straight for about 300 meters until you reach Deoksugung-gil. Turn left onto Deoksugung-gil and walk for about 200 meters. Jeongdong Observatory will be on your right at 15 Deoksugung-gil.

Bus
From Suwon, head to the nearest bus stop and take bus 3000 towards Seoul. The bus ride will take about 1 hour. Get off at the 'Seoul City Hall' stop. After getting off, walk towards City Hall and take Exit 2 from City Hall Station. Walk straight for about 300 meters until you reach Deoksugung-gil. Turn left on Deoksugung-gil and walk for another 200 meters. You will find Jeongdong Observatory at 15 Deoksugung-gil on your right.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from your location in Suwon to Jeongdong Observatory. Simply tell the driver 'Jeongdong Observatory' or show them the address: 15 Deoksugung-gil, Jung District, Seoul. The ride will take about 50 minutes depending on traffic.

Walking (from nearby landmark)
If you are near Gyeongbokgung Palace, you can walk to Jeongdong Observatory. Head east toward the intersection and turn left onto Sejong-daero. Continue walking straight until you reach Deoksugung-gil. Turn right onto Deoksugung-gil and walk for about 10 minutes. Jeongdong Observatory will be on your left at 15 Deoksugung-gil.
