Getting There

  • Subway

    If you are in Suwon, head to Suwon Station and take Line 1 (the dark blue line) towards Seoul. Stay on the train for about 30 minutes and get off at City Hall Station. From City Hall Station, transfer to Line 2 (the green line) and head towards Sinchon Station. Get off at the next stop, which is Hoehyeon Station. After exiting the station, take Exit 2. Walk straight for about 5 minutes along Sowol-ro, and you will arrive at Namsan Park.

    From any central location in Suwon, find a bus stop that services routes to Seoul. Take bus number 3000 or 5000 that goes directly to Seoul. Inform the driver you are heading to Hoehyeon-dong. After approximately 40-50 minutes, get off at Hoehyeon Station. After exiting the bus, walk towards Sowol-ro. Namsan Park is a short 5-minute walk straight ahead.

  • Walking

    If you are near the center of Suwon, you can walk to Suwon Station. From there, follow the directions above for the subway. Alternatively, if you are already in Seoul, you can simply walk to Namsan Park from nearby attractions such as Namsan Tower. Just head down the paths leading towards Sowol-ro, and you will soon find yourself at the entrance of Namsan Park.
