Getting There

  • Subway

    If you are starting from Suwon Station, take Line 1 (the dark blue line) towards Seoul. Ride the train for about 30 minutes and get off at City Hall Station. Once you exit the station, follow the signs to Exit 1. After exiting, turn right and walk straight for about 500 meters until you reach Deoksugung-gil. The Seoul Museum of Art (SeMA) will be on your left at 61 Deoksugung-gil.

  • Bus

    From Suwon Station, you can take Bus 3000. Board the bus from the bus stop located outside the station. Stay on the bus for approximately 40 minutes until you reach the stop at City Hall. Once you get off, head towards Deoksugung-gil, which is about a 5-minute walk. The museum will be at 61 Deoksugung-gil.

  • Taxi

    If you prefer taking a taxi, simply find a taxi at any designated taxi stand in Suwon. Tell the driver you want to go to 'SeMA - Seoul Museum of Art, 61 Deoksugung-gil, Jung District, Seoul.' The ride will take around 40 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to have the address written down or saved on your phone in case the driver needs it.

  • Walking

    If you are near the Suwon Hwaseong Fortress, you can walk to the nearest subway station, which is Suwon Station. From there, follow the subway instructions to take Line 1 towards Seoul and get off at City Hall Station. After that, follow the previous guidance for subway directions.
