Metro
If you are starting from the center of Bilbao, head to the Abando metro station. Take Line 1 (the green line) towards Etxebarri. Get off at the next stop, which is 'Casco Viejo'. From there, exit the station and follow the signs towards 'Plaza Nueva'. Once you reach Plaza Nueva, continue walking straight until you reach the end of the square. Turn left onto Calle de la Ribera and follow this street until you reach Ibaiondo. San Nikolas Plazatxoa will be on your right.

From the Guggenheim Museum, walk to the nearest bus stop (you can find it on Avenida de Abandoibarra). Take the Bizkaibus line A3247 towards 'Zarautz'. Get off at the 'Ibaiondo' stop. From there, walk towards Calle de la Ribera, cross the street, and head straight until you reach San Nikolas Plazatxoa.

If you are near the Bilbao Fine Arts Museum, start by walking south on Calle de Mazarredo. Continue straight until you reach the pedestrian bridge over the river. Cross the bridge and turn left. Follow the riverbank along the promenade until you reach Plaza Nueva. From Plaza Nueva, continue on Calle de la Ribera, and after a short walk, you will find San Nikolas Plazatxoa on your right.

Catch the tram from the nearest tram stop to you. If you are in the city center, look for the 'San Mamés' tram stop. Take the tram in the direction of 'Erandio'. Get off at the 'Atxuri' stop. Walk along the street towards the river and turn left at the riverbank. Continue walking until you reach Plaza Nueva, then follow Calle de la Ribera to San Nikolas Plazatxoa, which will be on your right.
