You can also take the bus to reach the Monumento a los Caídos en el Cuartel de la Montaña. Look for the nearest bus stop and catch either bus number 1 or 44. Be sure to check that the bus is heading towards 'Moncloa'. After a few stops, get off at the 'Calle de la Princesa' stop. From there, walk along 'Calle de la Princesa' heading northwest until you reach 'Calle del Prof. Martín Almagro Basch'. Turn left onto 'Calle del Prof. Martín Almagro Basch' and you will find the monument on your right.
