Getting There

Walking
Start from the Ella town center, where you can find the bus station. Head south on the main road (Ella-Wellawaya Road) for about 1.5 kilometers. As you walk, you'll pass by several shops and local eateries. Continue straight until you reach the sign for Ravana Cave, which will be on your right. Follow the path that leads up the hill to the cave entrance. The path may be steep and uneven, so wear sturdy shoes. The Cave Temple is located at the top of the hill.

Tuk Tuk
From the Ella town center, you can easily hire a tuk tuk. Tell the driver that you want to go to Ravana Cave. The ride will take about 10 minutes. The tuk tuk will drop you off at the entrance of the cave. From there, you'll need to walk up the pathway to reach the temple. Be aware that the path may have some steep sections, so take your time.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Ella. Begin your journey by cycling south on the Ella-Wellawaya Road for approximately 1.5 kilometers. Look for the signs indicating Ravana Cave, which will be on your right. You can park your bicycle at the entrance and then walk up the inclined path to the Cave Temple. Remember to be cautious as the path can be rocky and steep.
