Getting There

Walking
From the center of Ella, start at the Ella Railway Station. Head east on the main road (A23) towards the town center. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the Ella Gap viewpoint. Enjoy the view and then head back to the main road. Turn left onto the Nine Arch Road. Continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer. Keep an eye out for signs leading to the Ella Nine Arch Spice Garden. The garden will be on your right side, set back slightly from the road.

Tuk-tuk
From the center of Ella, find a tuk-tuk stand near the Ella Railway Station. Negotiate a fare with the driver to take you to the Nine Arch Spice Garden. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes. Ask the driver to drop you off at Nine Arch Road, Maduragama, Gotuwala. The garden is located on the right side of the road, and the driver will likely know the exact location.

If you have rented a bicycle in Ella, start at the town center and head towards the railway station. From there, take the main road (A23) eastward for about 500 meters. Turn left onto Nine Arch Road, which is well-marked. Continue cycling for about 1 kilometer, and keep an eye out for the Ella Nine Arch Spice Garden on your right.
