Walking
If you are starting from Galle Fort, exit the Fort through the main gate and head east along the coastal road, known as the Galle-Matara Road (A2). Continue walking along this road for approximately 4.5 kilometers. You will pass by several shops and local eateries. Keep your eyes on the sea to your right as you walk, and after about 1 hour, you will reach a sign indicating 'Parevi Duwa.' Turn left at this sign and walk towards the coast. You will see the Buddha's Statue ahead, situated on a small island.
