From any location in Hikkaduwa, you can hire a tuk-tuk which is a popular and convenient mode of transport. Simply tell the driver you want to go to 'Nandana Tea Factory in Akuressa'. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. The driver will take you along the main coast road (Galle Road) heading southeast towards Akuressa. Ensure you have the exact address ready to show the driver if needed.

You can catch a local bus from the Hikkaduwa bus station heading towards Akuressa. Look for a bus that is marked for 'Akuressa' or 'Ambalangoda'. The bus journey will take about 1 hour, and you will need to inform the conductor that you want to get off at Nandana Tea Factory. Once you reach Akuressa, you can ask locals for directions to the tea factory, which is located close to the main road.
