    If you are driving, head towards Hantana from Kandy city center. Take Sir John Kotelawala Mawatha and follow the signs for Hantana. After about 4 kilometers, you will reach the Hantana junction. Turn left at the junction and continue for about 1.5 kilometers until you see the sign for Hanthana International Bird Park & Recreation Center on your right. There is parking available on-site.

    To reach the park by public transport, take a local bus from Kandy city center to Hantana. Buses frequently depart from the Kandy main bus station. You can take any bus that goes towards Hantana.
