Car
If you are driving, head towards Hantana from Kandy city center. Take Sir John Kotelawala Mawatha and follow the signs for Hantana. After about 4 kilometers, you will reach the Hantana junction. Turn left at the junction and continue for about 1.5 kilometers until you see the sign for Hanthana International Bird Park & Recreation Center on your right. There is parking available on-site.

Public Transportation
To reach the park by public transport, take a local bus from Kandy city center to Hantana. Buses frequently depart from the Kandy main bus station. You can take any bus that goes towards Hantana. The fare is approximately 30 LKR. Once you reach the Hantana junction, ask the conductor to drop you off. From there, it is about a 15-minute walk (1.5 km) to the park entrance. Follow the road signs leading to Hanthana International Bird Park & Recreation Center.

For a more convenient option, you can hire a tuk-tuk from Kandy city center directly to Hanthana International Bird Park & Recreation Center.
